Interview with Laura Medcalf artist

This portrait series was created with British–Hungarian visual artist Laura Medcalf, whom I met during the installation of her exhibition at Képező Gallery. Laura’s practice explores the relationship between human and nature through experimental, light-based processes and materials drawn directly from the landscape. Photographed in her home and studio, the project was an intimate encounter rather than a traditional editorial production. Working only with natural window light and minimal intervention, I focused on creating space for conversation, presence and connection.
